Favorite Finish Monthly Linkup - August 2022

Welcome to August's Favorite Finish Monthly Linkup!

My big finish this month is the release of my Up the Ladder pattern (you can find the pattern in my pattern shop and on Etsy for only $9.98 through Friday night).  I had made the lap size version years ago for a collaboration for Quilt Theory and when I expanded the pattern I added a baby size which I just finished.  It was a super fun, quick finish that used some of my favorite scraps in a more modern, minimalist design.

Ready for the party?

Here is a reminder of the party details:
  • The linky party will open at 12:01am EST on the last day of the month and will be open for 5 days, through the 4th at 11:59 pm EST.
  • For instructions on how to link up blog, Instagram, or pictures from your computer (new - there is now a way to just upload a picture without a web link) to the party, click here.
  • If linking a blog post, I ask that you please add a link back to the party.
  • Please visit at least 3 other links (and preferably leave comments) to share the love and celebration :)
I hope you join in by checking out the posts or linking your favorite finish of the month!

  1. No big finish for me this month, but I hope to have at least one in September. I love the baby version of Up the Ladder!

  2. I love Up the Ladder! I am also thrilled to have a finish to post this month - laid up with a broken ankle for a few months but I am back to quilting.

  3. My big finish for August is my 2018 Grandmother’s Kitchen qal with Pat Sloan. The top was originally finished in 2019 but there was something about it I didn’t like. I decided not to quilt it and just put it in quilt timeout (the back of the closet). A few months ago I pulled it out to donate but as I was looking at it I realized it was the sashing I had chosen that made me dislike it. So I took off all the sashing and replaced it. Now it’s one of my favorite quilts. So happy I kept and finished it.
