Fabric Destash!

I try to keep a reasonable amount of fabric and notions in my sewing room.  Most of my fabric storage is limited to my two book shelves so when they get full, it is time to clean up and do a little destashing.

My destash includes yardage, fabric bundles, scrap bundles, thread, and more.  Hop over to the shop and see if there is anything you like :)

All fabric and thread comes from a smoke-free but cat friendly house.

SHIPPING - Fabric will be shipped as cheaply as possible using either first class package or using flat rate mailers. It is sometimes difficult to estimate shipping, any shipping charges over actual shipping cost will be refunded. Shipping is within US only due to shipping costs.

QUESTIONS? - You can reach out to me at cheryl@meadow-mist-designs.com with any questions you have about the thread and/or fabric.

Side note: if you would like a little tour of my sewing room you can find a short video over on Instagram:

Candy Circle - FREE Pattern

Way back in 2014, I created Candy Circle as my first "recipe" (aka pattern) for the Moda Bake Shop. I was so excited to become a Bake Shop Chef.

The quilt actually falls into my Just One Charm Pack Quilts formula as the baby quilt uses a single charm pack, an additional fabric (white), and a background (green print) and it also has a plus sign!

Over the years, the MBS has revamped its website and this pattern is no longer on the site.  I still love the design and so I decided to give the pattern a facelift, expand the size options, and offer it as a free pattern to all of my newsletter subscribers.

Current newsletter subscribers will get the pattern emailed to them at 10:15 am ET.  You can join the newsletter to get the free pattern right here.

The baby size uses one charm pack and the new queen size uses one layer cake creating a larger scale version of the design.

I made a second version of the quilt too, both used Fig Tree & Company fabrics from Moda.  I quilted both using pebbles in the white areas, and straight lines and cross-hatching in the print areas.

For this second version of Candy Circle, I even pieced the back!  I still have the original version and the second version was gifted to my niece.

Would you like a copy of Candy Circle?

If you are a subscriber of my newsletter, the pattern will be sent out via email at about 10:15 am ET (you can always reach me at cheryl@meadow-mist-designs.com if you do not get the pattern or have any questions).

If you would like to subscribe, you can subscribe right here or click the newsletter button.

Fall and Halloween Styled Quilts

As the weather (here in South Carolina) gets a littler cooler and the leaves start to turn and fall, I thought it might be fun to do a mash up of fall and Halloween quilts.  Not just ones that were specifically designed for the season, but other patterns done up in seasonal colors as well.

The names and links to the patterns are below the images.

The first quilt was made originally as a Halloween quilt with the Sweeter and Spookier line from AGF...

Favorite Finish Monthly Linkup - September 2022

Welcome to September's Favorite Finish Monthly Linkup!

My big finish this month was the Sycamore Canyon quilt and pattern (you can find the pattern in my pattern shop).  I do not usually make such bright quilts, but I love how these neon colors pop against the black.
