Favorite Finish Monthly Linkup - June 2021

Welcome to June's Favorite Finish Monthly Linkup!

My favorite finish this month was my book Just One Charm Pack Quilts.  It was so nice to be able to share with everyone all of the quilts that I had made back in 2020.  Here is one of my favorite quilts from the book called Medallion and you can find the book on Amazon and signed copies in my shop.

It's Here! Just One Charm Pack Quilts

I am so happy to announce that Just One Charm Pack Quilts has officially published :)   I have all of the pre-orders sent out and extra books ready to ship.

As of today, my book is now published and available at Amazon, you can find it here (affiliate link).

You can also get signed copies of the Just One Charm Pack Quilts book in my shop here.

Want to see the unboxing of the book?  Check it out here on Instagram.

In mid-July, there will be a week long book hop where a bunch of quilters will be showing off their versions of the book quilts.  I love seeing everyone's take on the designs and am excited to see what they make.

In early July, I will be kicking off a charity sew along for the book.  This will be an informal fun way to make some quilts and give back to the community.  Each quilt made from one of the book patterns and donated to a cause will gain you one entry to win some fun prizes (and help out the worthy cause of your choice).  More details to come...

Just One Charm Packs Quilts & Cats

I thought it might be fun to highlight my favorite quilt testers Oreo, Reeses, and Piper today.  They took their job of laying on and messing with every fabric, quilt block, quilt top, and finished quilt I made for the Just One Charm Pack Quilts book very seriously.

These are all in-progress iPhone pictures so they are not the best photo-wise but it they were too cute not to share.

Macaron Mystery ++ 1 Month Until Kickoff!

The Macaron Mystery Quilt, a free monthly mystery quilt along will kick off in just one more month on Thursday, July 1st!

The Macaron Quilt is a free quilt-along that will run from July 2021 through April 2022 with a set of directions revealed the first Thursday of every month.

We will kick off the quilt-along on Thursday, July 1st with the fabric requirements and some helpful hints to pick fabrics and colors (you will have an entire month to gather fabrics before the cutting instructions in August).

Here are some more details about the upcoming mystery quilt...

The monthly instructions will be posted to this blog as blog posts (and can always be found on the Macaron Mystery Page).  I will be attaching a link to the downloadable, easy to print, pdf versions of the instructions right into each monthly instruction blog post.  There is no need to sign up to get the instructions, they will be posted here each month.

To make sure that you do not miss any posts, make sure that you are subscribed to the blog (here are some links for following... BloglovinEmail).

We will have many prizes which will be given out randomly to quilters who submit finished quilts or quilt tops to the reveal parade in April 2022.  I will be posting about the sponsors and prizes in about two weeks.

Want to join in the fun but making a mystery quilt is not your thing? I totally understand and offer a sneak peek of the design!

If you would like to see the final pattern to decide whether to join in or to help pick colors, you can sign up to receive the Un-Mystery Quilt Sneak Peek.  The sneak peek will be sent out on Thursday, July 1st and will contain the sneak peek, multiple colorway renderings, and a coloring page.

  • The only rule is that you have to keep the design completely to yourself as to not spoil anyone else's surprise.
  • This sign up is only for a sneak peek and will not be used for sending out instructions.
  • This is a fresh signup so if you want the sneak peek you need to sign up, even if you had signed up for last year's sneak peek.

We have over 8,000 members in our Facebook Group (Meadow Mist Designs Facebook Group) sewing together! Join the group today so you can share and see everyone else's fabric, progress pictures, and finished quilts.

There is no need to purchase a kit to take part in the mystery quilt along, but for those that would like to purchase a quilt kit, there will be kits offered (more info and links will be posted on July 1st)

The instructions for my previous mystery quilts are located in the Mystery Quilt tab above (and are always available so you can start them at any time).

If you have any questions regarding my mystery quilts you can e-mail me at or leave your question in a comment below.
