New Pattern ++ Candy Stripes

I am happy to be releasing two new patterns, Candy Stripes and Jelly Lanterns.  Today I will be highlighting Candy Stripes and tomorrow I will showcase Jelly Lanterns.  You can find it (for a special introductory price) here in my shop.

Candy Stripes originally appeared in the Quilter's Planner Magazine 2020 as a lap sized quilt.  I have expanded the pattern to contain three sizes: baby, lap, and twin.  All of the sizes are pre-cut friendly, fat eighths for baby, fat quarters for lap, and half yard cuts for twin.  The pattern has few seams to match and is perfect for a confident beginner quilter.

The cover quilt was made using solids from the Painters Palette Collection by Paintbrush Studios. All of the cover quilt photography is by Kitty Wilkins.

Candy Stripes was quilted by Johellen George, a local longarm quilter who used the most perfect and whimsical double loop quilting design.

Many, many thanks to Yvonne of Quilting Jetgirl for her spectacular tech editing skills!!

I had some fun playing around with different colorways, trying out darker backgrounds and making a holiday version.

Would you like to make your own Candy Stripes?  It is on sale for an introductory price of $9 for only 5 days through September 14th.

You can combine this special price with the introductory pricing on Jelly Lanterns and also with a coupon code for even more savings.

Use the coupon code "TWOPATTERNS" for $2 off 2 patterns and "THREEPATTERNS" for $4 off 3 patterns.

If you decide to make a Candy Stripes quilt, please share your progress and finished pictures on social media #CandyStripesQuilt and be sure to tag me @MeadowMistDesigns :)
