Midnight Mystery Quilt - My Cut Fabrics

July's assignment for the Midnight Mystery quilt-a-long was to cut all of your fabrics.  Here are my cut pieces all ready for piecing.

(It is not too late to join! See the Mystery Quilt Tab above for all of the information.)

And here they are all together:

Just remember that it is not too late to join in! (We also have the option of an un-mystery quilt for those that would like a sneak peek of the finished design).

In August (the 6th) we will start piecing the blocks :)  Thanks so much for quilting along with me.

  1. Great fabric pull. I have to admit that I am little intrigued by a mystery quilt... I can't really imagine the process. It will be fun to see how something like this comes together.

  4. These are such pretty colors together! I'm really into navy right now, and I need to grab some of that Lotta Jansdotter print. My Joann's was out last time I was there, though. :-(

  6. I did mine yesterday. I'm slightly nervous with my choices as I don't do mystery quilts. I'm too much of a control freak to not know what's going on. I decided to take the plunge as who knows I might enjoy the experience

  13. I've looked through all the posts and don't see that it appears that there should be one selected as a focus fabric vs. a background - do you have any guidance on which should be used for either? I have a print that I want to use and would rather it be more of a focus than a background. Thanks :)
