To quilty engineers and scientists and Pi lovers everywhere,
Happy Pi Day!
During college, Pi day was always celebrated (did I mention I went to a very nerdy engineering school?). People spent most of the night writing out the thousands of digits of Pi on the sidewalks all through the campus. I always try to celebrate pi day now with a celebration including some pie.
Last year I made a Pi quilt for my husband containing 49 paper pieced digits of Pi.
Go have a piece of pie today to celebrate Pi Day :)
Happy Pi day, Cheryl!
ReplyDeleteLove your paper pieced Pi quilt, might be just the thing to make for my number loving nephew. (Now that's 2 quilt patterns of yours on my to-sew list... ;o).
Happy pi day!
ReplyDeleteLove this quilt! Happy pi day :)

ReplyDeleteI want to say "that's the nerdiest little quilt I've ever seen", but that sounds negative. It really is adorable and I'm sure your husband loved it!
