Let's Quilt Along!
How to Join the Quilt Along
All you need for the quilt along is a copy of the Just Two Charm Pack Quilts book and some fabric :)
You can purchase a copy from Amazon (affiliate link) or get a signed copy from my shop (I will be having a Thanksgiving sale next week where you will get additional free patterns if you purchase a book).
There is no official signup or cost to join the quilt along. I will be posting about the schedule and some tips and tricks right here on the blog and will also be posting to the Facebook Group and Instagram.
Quilt Along Pattern
To keep this quilt along easy, you can choose any of the 16 patterns in the book. You are also free to change up the designs as you would like with different block sizes, quilt sizes, borders etc. You can see all of the quilt patterns in the book here.
For each post, I will outline what steps should be done for each quilt pattern so you can stay on track.

January 30th - Blocks (will be live 1/30)
February 13th - Quilt Top (will be live 2/13)
March 5th - Quilt Parade
Prizes
Prizes make a quilt along even more fun, right? I will be having prizes given out randomly to those that enter the reveal parade including charm packs, Aurifil thread, patterns, and more!

DeleteAt first it was, no I can't start anything new. But I do need to start using up some scraps, so I think a controlled scrappy version of Betty may be my pick for the quilt along. I have a lot of 2.5" scraps.

ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting a quilt along! I want to make More Fishies quilt. Do you think blocks could be combined with your original Fishies? I have yet to get Just One Charm Pack book so I don't know the block size for that one.

ReplyDeleteI just ordered your book- 2 Charm Pack Quilts-- I'm looking forward to the quilt along. I haven't decided if I'm gonna do the More Fishes, Diamond Hashtag, or the Taylors Square! Most of the patterns are so nice!
