Welcome to the sixth day of the Just One Charm Pack Quilts book hop! Have you enjoyed seeing each of quilts? I have loved seeing the blog hop's participants' versions of the book quilts. It is always amazing to me how different the book quilt designs look with different color and fabric placements.
Today, I will be sharing the Bowtie and the Nine-Patch Challenge quilts from the book. In addition to these quilts, Heather K. from Quilt Pattern Mart will be sharing her version of Windows and Anja from Anja Quilts will be sharing her Charming Stripes. I'll be sharing sneak peek images so you can visit their blogs to see the full quilts.
JUST ONE CHARM PACK QUILTS COPIES
You can find copies of Just One Charm Pack Quilts on Amazon or get a signed copy in my shop. As a bonus, if you purchase a signed copy from my shop, you can get one additional free stand-alone pattern (digital or printed) by using the code HOPPATTERN (through the end of the hop 7/29)
BOWTIE
Bowtie is a fun and simple quilt that combines little bowties formed by half square triangles and Irish Chain style diagonal pieced lines. For the first version of Bowtie, I paired an older charm pack called Boundless Posey Meadow by Bluprint, with Cirrus Solids in Shadow by Cloud 9 Fabrics (such an awesome cross-weave), and a white background. Carol added a sweet floral quilting design to compliment the prints in the charm pack.

Cindy H. made the second version of Bowtie for the book. I created my own charm pack using various Bonnie and Camille fabrics in pinks, aquas, and blues and paired them with navy and white solids. Cindy H. used straight line quilting which goes well with the pieced design.

NINE-PATCH CHALLENGE
Who doesn't love a nine-patch quilt? This one gets a little twist by the placement of the prints and for having the blocks set on point. I used one of my all time favorite collections for this quilt, Chicopee by Denyse Schimdt for FreeSpirit Fabrics. This is actually my third quilt I have made with this line and I actually still have just a bit more left :)

Garen S. made the second version of Nine-Patch Challenge for the book. I love the prints from the Sugarhouse collection by Amy Smart for Riley Blake Designs paired with the khaki colored background (Kona Cotton in Parchment).

Note for Nine-Patch Challenge: Every pattern in this book has been tested twice and technical edited, but unfortunately mistakes still happen and for that I truly apologize. The pattern Nine-Patch Challenge on pages 84-88 of the Just One Charm Pack Quilts book contains an error in the cutting of the background fabric for the first printing of the book. Many thanks to Shelley for finding the error and for C&T to work so quickly to get the fix in time for the second printing of the book. Please see the Just One Charm Pack Quilts page for more information about the error and two options for the quilt design so that no fabric is wasted.
