Favorite Finish Monthly Linkup - May 2022

  Welcome to May's Favorite Finish Monthly Linkup!

May has been full of end of school activities and secret sewing so I have no Favorite Finish for this month.  But on the bright side, the Melodic Mystery quilt is getting prepped for the July kick-off and I hope everyone is looking forward to that :)

Just One Charm Pack Quilt Along - Linkup

Many quilters are finishing their quilt tops and quilts from the Just One Charm Pack Quilts so I wanted to open up the linkup for the quilt along.

You can link up ANY quilt top or quilt from the Just One Charm Pack Quilts book.  Quilts made ANYTIME (before or during the quilt along) can be linked up.  It will be so much fun to see everyone's quilts all together.

How to Linkup

1.    Email me a picture of your quilt.  MMDmysteryquilts@gmail.com

2.    Upload your picture of your quilt to this link-up party.  Be sure to click the "Enter without link" button (circled in red), enter a name for your quilt, and upload a picture (note that this works better on a computer than a mobile device).

Just One Charm Pack Quilt Along - Week 4 - Quilt Top Assembly

 

We are already in week 4 of the Just One Charm Pack Quilt Along!  This is a super fun and laid back quilt along so you can join in at any time. 

The quilt along will focus on Blossom Chains, Star Surround, and Medallion, but if you would like to make another quilt from the book during the quilt along that is awesome too!

If you would like to join in and don't have the book yet, you can get a copy in my pattern shop or on Amazon.

This week, we are are sewing up all of the blocks into the quilt tops.  Don't worry if you are a little behind, next week is a quilting/catch-up week.

Just One Charm Pack Quilt Along - Week 2 - Unit Piecing

 

We are now in week 2 of the Just One Charm Pack Quilt Along.  This is a super fun and laid back quilt along so you can join in at any time. 

The quilt along will focus on Blossom Chains, Star Surround, and Medallion, but if you would like to make another quilt from the book during the quilt along that is awesome too!

If you would like to join in and don't have the book yet, you can get a copy in my pattern shop or on Amazon.

This week, we are making the units that make up the blocks and quilt top.  For Medallion, we are making the HST this week, for Star Surround we are making the flying geese, and for Blossom Chains we are making the X, Y, and Z units.

For other quilts from the book, you can make the half-square triangle / flying geese / square in a square units.
