Birthday Celebration Coming This Saturday!

My birthday is this Saturday and I want to celebrate with you!  Last year, I had such fun having a sale to raise money for the Greenville Zoo (I was able to donate $500) that I am going to repeat it this year.

On my birthday this Saturday, I will be having a 35% off sale in my Etsy shop and will donate 100% of the profit to the Greenville Human Society and Greenville Animal Care.  

This is a great way to grab a pattern or book from my shop you have been eyeing and give to worthy causes.

Why these organizations?  We adopted Reeses through Greenville Animal Care and Oreo through the Greenville Human Society last October as kittens.  Both organizations provide low cost or free spaying/neutering, great adoption programs, education to the community, and medical care to animals.

Here are my girls that just turned one year old...  Oreo is the tabby and Reeses is the calico...

My plan is to take my kids shopping for items on the organizations' wish lists, then deliver the goodies in person.  I think that it will be a great learning experience and fun for my children to be involved in the donation process.
