With all of the negative space the quilt came together pretty quickly and allowed for some great quilting. You can get the issue right here.

The quilting is very striking. I have found that whatever time I save on piecing negative space is taken up in quilting it.
ReplyDeleteI tried it recently and had trouble squaring the quilt without blocks to align my ruler to, plus I find cuttig those large pieces intimidating.
I still like the feature, and you did it well.
That is beautiful and I love how the quilting complements the design. Now I'm off to see if that magazine is available in the UK.
