Many thanks to:
- Robert Kaufman for the Kona Cotton solids in Storm, Acid Lime, and Breakers
- The Warm Company for the Warm & White batting.
- Aurifil for the piecing and quilting thread.
For the quilting, I wanted to pick a quilting pattern that gave the quilt texture but did not take away from the design or the colors. I decided to quilt rows of loops that looked like continuous cursive "e" using matching thread colors for each fabric. I used 50 wt Aurifil thread in 2785 (dark blue), 2810 (turquoise), and 2115 (bright yellow) for the quilting. This meant a ton of tying off and burying threads, but I think I hope that the effect was worth it :)
I want to give a special thanks to Paige of Quilted Blooms and Yvonne of Quilting Jetgirl for their super pattern review skills!!
