Macaron Mystery ++ Cutting Instructions

Is everyone ready to start cutting their fabrics?

Welcome to the first month of instructions for the Macaron Mystery Quilt! The Macaron Mystery Quilt is a free quilt-along that will run from July 2021 through April 2022 with a set of directions revealed the first Thursday of every month. The Macaron Mystery is a lap size design, that can easily be made larger with the addition of borders.

There is plenty of time to join in on the quilt along, we are just getting started! You can find all of the information about the Macaron Mystery, including schedule, past instructions, links to the Facebook group, sneak peek, and more at the Macaron Mystery Page.

Now that the Macaron Mystery quilt along has ended,
you can find a easy to print, full version of the Macaron Mystery
pattern for sale in my pattern shop.

  1. This is my first Meadow Mist Mystery quilt. I do not want to know the pattern, but was wondering if there are any Half Square Triangles and if your cutting instructions allow a bit bigger for squaring up? Thanks so much.

    1. The HST are cut on the 1/2 or full inch, instead of the 1/8” exact measurements so there is a little room for trimming. If you would like, skip cutting this month and then cut the pieces for each month as they come to make sure you oversized pieces you would like to. Thanks!
