WEEK TWO

This week, Jan 29- Feb 4, we will start piecing our quilt tops. Here are the specific instructions for each pattern:

Scenic Waypoint - Hourglass units
Board and Batten - 1/2 of the half-square triangles
Looking Glass - 1/2 of the sub-blocks
Sea Star - 1/2 of the half-square triangles

Below you’ll find the simple sewing schedule for each pattern for the entire quilt along. These are just general guidelines — feel free to sew at your own pace if you’re faster or slower. No pressure and no rules here! ✂️💕

GENERAL INFORMATION

🗓 Kickoff Date: Thursday, January 22nd (plenty of time to grab a pattern & pick fabrics).

⏳ Duration: 7 weeks, wrapping up on March 12th.

🎉 Final Parade: Share your quilt top or finished quilt at the end.

🚫 No Prizes—Just Fun: This is all about using what we have & enjoying the process.

📝 Scrap Busting Posts: I'll be posting tips on fabric organization, scrap-busting ideas, and sewing techniques throughout the sew along.

🔹 The Challenge: Try to create your entire quilt—top, binding, and backing—using only fabric from your stash! No new fabric purchases needed.
