Have you tried Paintbrush Studio Fabrics solids? They are called Painter's Palette Solids and they are one of my favorites. Their weight is between a Kona and a Bella. They wash great, have a wonderful hand, and are one of the least fraying solids I have ever worked with. I am using Painter's Palette Solids that Paintbrush Studio Fabrics generally provided in my version of the Mosaic Mystery quilt.  I will be posting about my fabrics tomorrow :)
