1. Adding labels and hanging sleeves to quilts for a local quilt show.
I am going to have six quilts hanging in my local quilt show the Foothills Piecemakers Quilt Guild which is Friday and Saturday, March 28-29 at the Pelham Road Baptist Church (for those that are local). One quilt to label and/or sew on hang sleeves would not actually be too bad, but labels for 6 and sleeves for 3 got a little old.
For the labels I used my sewing machine (Bernina 710) to make some quilt labels. It is not an embroidery machine, but its letters are far better looking than my hand writing :)
2. Peanut Butter Pinwheels
I have finished quilting and am now making and sewing on the binding. The pattern is out at the reviewers and testers so hopefully this will be completely finished in the next week.
3. Tic Tac Hashtag
The quilt top, backing, and batting are all set, I am just waiting for the rain to end so that I can spray the 505 outside. I will be quilting this quilt in a diagonal cross-hatch. (Sorry for the night picture, the pinks are actually red in real life)
4. Tutorials - Other than the quilts above I have been working on a few tutorials for some websites that should be published in April.
That's what I have been up to...thanks for stopping by!
I'm linking up to Anything Goes Mondays @ Stitch by Stitch, Design Wall Monday @ Patchwork Times, Sew Cute Tuesday @ Blossom Heart Quilts, Quilt Story Fabric Tuesday, Let's Bee Social @Sew Fresh Quilts, Show and Tell Tuesday @ I Have to Say, WIPs Wednesday @ Esthers Blog, and WIP @ Freshly Pieced.
I love the quilting on your Peanut Butter Pinwheels! And the Hashtag quilt is beautiful. Looking forward to your next tutorial. :-)
