I do love sewing paper pieced blocks and creating designs with such interesting angles compared to what is possible with traditional piecing.
You can find the Paper Pieced Area instructions for January here and find out all about the quilt along here.
Also, I also wanted to highlight a project that Carole from My Carolina Home has been organizing, the Carolina Hurricane Quilt Project. The project is to collect new and nearly new bed size quilts for the victims of Hurricane Florence and Michael on the North Carolina coast.
The project will go through the summer and completed quilts are needed as well as help making quilt tops and quilting the quilts. More information and updates can be found on Carole’s Blog and the Carolina Hurricane Quilt Project post.
The Faceted rings are my favorite. I may make five of them and fill the center of my large plus.
