Welcome to October's Favorite Finish Monthly Linkup!
My favorite finish for October were some new pineapple blocks. I made a variety for the beginning paper piecing workshop I taught in the middle of October.
Ready for the party?
Here is a reminder of the party details:
- The linky party will open at 12:01am EST on the last day of the month and will be open for 5 days, through the 4th at 11:59 pm EST.
- For instructions on how to link up blog, Instagram, or pictures from your computer (new - there is now a way to just upload a picture without a web link) to the party, click here.
- If linking a blog post, I ask that you please add a link back to the party (and the button graphic if you would like).
- Please visit at least 3 other links (and preferably leave comments) to share the love and celebration :)
The pineapple blocks look great. I am especially drawn to the mustard/navy/white version which reminds me to dig out my Splendid Sampler 2 blocks...
ReplyDeleteLove the teal block!
ReplyDeleteI love how each of your blocks look completely different... so fun!
ReplyDeleteLove pineapple blocks! They never grow old.
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to see the differences in your pineapple blocks. I've only made a couple of them for bee blocks but never a quilt. Happy to finally be linking up this month too.
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful, I specially like the first one, most probably because today is Halloween :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for hosting!

I really like the black and white one! It's a stunning contrast!
ReplyDeleteLots of scrappy fun in those blocks. I love the look, but oh the work that goes into each block!
ReplyDeleteVery graphic, precise and beautiful pineapples! Thanks for hosting this link up, Cheryl! It's too much fun to see everyone's best of the best for the month!!!
ReplyDeleteEach of these is lovely in its own way, but that final block -- with its unique value play -- has me thinking. It would have taken me a minute to figure out that it was a pineapple block!
ReplyDeleteHi Cheryl, those are lovely pineapple blocks. Doing them using foundation paper piecing must make it so much easier. I hope your class went well.
ReplyDeleteLove those blocks. :-) I had a hard time picking a favourite this month!
ReplyDeleteYour first block reminds me of my 2019 bee quilt :) Love how different they all are. But I guess it will be hard to but them together in a project... at least it would be for me. So I am looking forward to seeing what they will become. xo Melanie
ReplyDeleteThanks Cheryl for hosting this again & I love seeing the wonderful variety of quilts on show. Your blocks are going to look good when all is complete. Take care.
