Diamonds and Pearls ++ New Pattern and Quilt Kit at Connecting Threads

One of the projects I have been working on behinds the scenes is becoming a designer for Connecting Threads.

For each collection, they send the designers the swatches of the new fabrics and we submit pattern proposals using them.  Connecting Threads has been so excellent to work with and I am proud to show off my first design for them...Diamonds and Pearls.

Diamonds and Pearls is available as a digital download pattern containing instructions for lap and king sizes and as a king size quilt kit.

The king sized quilt kit contains all of the fabric for the quilt top and binding (backing would have to be purchased separately).

The kit is made using the new Jardin de Nicolette collection. I really like the combination of the sweet prints forming the diamonds with the darker shoo fly blocks.

Connecting Threads made the quilt and took the photographs, I think that they did a beautiful job.

  6. A gorgeous quilt. I could see using "scraps" for the diamonds but keeping the shoe fly block one color. Congratulations on your pattern and your association with Connecting Threads.
