For the pattern sale, 29 quilters ordered 60 patterns for a total of $356.50! I decided to round this up and donated $500 to the Greenville Zoo through their "Adopt and Animal" program so that the money would be directed to the Siamang Gibbons.
Thank you all so much for your generosity, hopefully this gets the Siamang Gibbons out of their cage-like enclosure and into the proposed huge (like 10 times the current size) new home a little quicker.
What a fantastic way to celebrate your birthday Cheryl. I have been rather ill recently and am still unable to sew and am only just starting to get back in touch. A belated Happy Birthday anyhow, you have got off to a wonderful start.
