It was one year ago today (plus a just a few days) that I started this little blog of mine. I am floored by how much fun this has been and how many connections I have made with such wonderful quilters! I hesitated starting this blog for months before I finally took the plunge. This blog has pushed me outside my comfort zone and has been a great journal to capture my quilts and my quilting progress.
I want to thank you all so much for joining me on my journey! With that I think a little celebration giveaway is in order don't you? To celebrate I will giveaway one (1) pincushion from my etsy shop.
As this to celebrate everyone who has been with me on this blogging journey, to enter this giveaway, you much be a follower of my blog. Followers can be old or brand new and the giveaway is open to followers everywhere in the world.
To enter please leave a comment, any comment (one per person). If you would like an idea for a comment (totally optional), you could take a look through my etsy shop and let me know your favorite item is to help me figure out what new items to make to fill the shop with.
The giveaway will go until Sunday, October 12th at 9pm EST.
Thank you for joining me in my quilting journey!

ReplyDeleteCute shop. Love the pi quilt. Maybe a few Halloween treat bags in the shop would be good sellers? Happy anniversary

ReplyDeleteHi Cheryl,
I am so glad I found your blog. You have the most adorable creations and I love your patterns.
I think you should continue to sell the fabric bins and pin cushions and your patterns.
I hope I win hahaha but if I don't I will be doing some Christmas shopping at your shop.
I am so glad you have a blog.
I absolutely do not need to be entered but I do want to wish you a happy blogiversary!!

ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary, Cheryl! I am so glad that you took the plunge and started blogging. I look forward to each month's mystery quilt installment, and I am excited to see what you create in the next year. :) I follow you using Bloglovin'.
ReplyDeletelove those , old follower
ReplyDeleteI especially like your cathedral windows pin cushions. I think the ones that make the biggest impression are the more modern ones--the cathedral windows with a pale, graphic print on the bottom and a colored print on top. These beautifully combine the traditional pattern with a more modern sensibility and I love them. I didn't notice whether you fill them with walnut shells, but that is my preferred filling. Anything less substantial tends to fall off my table or ironing board and causes more problems than it solves. Just a thought.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
ReplyDeleteI like your sewing accessories sets - they would make a great gift for sewing friends!
Happy Blogiversary Cheryl! I love reading your posts and being inspired by your work. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteThe cathedral window pincushions are adorable!

ReplyDeleteYour pin cushions are adorable! Congrats on your blog being 1 year old. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteWe must be on the same path. I follow you on Bloglovin... and my blog had its first anniversary two weeks ago... and I have an Etsy site that is small and although mine is not successful, but I have plans to grow it... someday. Your pin cushions are beatiful little works of art!
ReplyDeleteI love your pin cushions! They are beautiful. I follow you on feedly.
ReplyDeleteCheryl, Congratulations on the anniversary of your blog! I know you will have many more great quilting patterns in the future!
ReplyDeleteWhile I adore your cathedral window pin cushions, the fussy cut ones are cute too. Being a bookkeeper and while Excel has mostly replaced ledgers, I would certainly have to choose the architextures print pin cushion.
Have you thought about selling three piece sets of the fabric buckets in graduating sizes or perhaps all the same size for scraps? Those might be a nice addition to your etsy shop.
I have enjoyed moving along with you on this blogging journey. I, too, have been greatly enjoying this path, and learning so much!
ReplyDeleteHappy 1 Year Blogiversary!!!! I love following your blog via Bloglovin'!
