Only 2 of the quilt shops that I went to had the row designed by staff, others asked local quilt guilds to submit designs, had design challenges in store, or asked a quilty friend to design. I picked up 12 or so patterns this year, and I'm adding them to the spring/summer ones from last year to make a queen-sized quilt for the camping trailer. There are a lot of really great designs. Too bad I couldn't get south to pick up the beach umbrella one, it would have gone perfectly with one I have of women sunning on the beach! I really like the paper piecing plan, I know it's more work to design than the applique, but I'm more likely to do the pieced patterns. Congrats on making a great design, and I know we'll be seeing more of your creative ideas in the future :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07332411743129736245noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6339722470418175310.post-75310015802763518072015-09-19T17:07:21.365-04:002015-09-19T17:07:21.365-04:00What ba fun design!!!
