Followers Thank You Giveaway

I have only been blogging since September, but I have met so many wonderful quilters and have already forged such great new relationships that I wanted to have a little giveaway celebration for my followers.

What's up for grabs?  A fat eighth bundle of 10 prints from the Shelburne Falls Collection from Denyse Schmidt (I love Denyse Schmidt's fabrics!)

As this giveaway is to celebrate my followers, you must be a follower of this blog to enter (old or new), anywhere around the world.

Leave a comment, any comment (one per person) to enter.  If you need an idea for a comment, you can answer:  When you are reading a quilt pattern, do you prefer the steps to be shown with pictures or with computer images?

The giveaway will go until Tuesday, January 28th at 9pm EST.

Thank you for joining me in my quilting journey!

Cheryl

  3. Awesome giveaway! I like to ix it up, depending on the type of quilt I am making. Since I tend to make a lot of baby quilts-I lean toward fun children's fabrics and I like to use fairly traditional quilt block patterns.

  4. Fun thanks! I follow with bloglovin. I'm not sure what you mean in graphics versus images, but if you mean shapes versus images of things, I prefer shapes!

  7. I tend to use online tutorials and books more than individual patterns so I really like my photos... but my favorite patterns have extra bits like a blank diagram to print and color-in or multiple layouts/size suggestions with the quilty math already done. Congrats on some terrific blogging so far!

  28. I like both, depending on the pattern. Sometimes it is easier to see what is being done with computer, but real pics are nice when you can see. Love your blog!

  36. I am a new follower of yours after finding your blog during the Kona Blog Hop.

I really do benefit from pictures quite often in any tutorial/pattern. I'm more a visual learner so having a picture to refer to really helps me. If there are no pictures, I can still get it completed, but I tend to read each step and then re-read it again about 5-6 times or more to get it into my head correctly.

Thank you for the wonderful giveaway.

  42. I always like pictures better, they are just so much easier to follw.
